A DIFFERENT KIND OF YOGA

The following styles are available for both group and private instruction:

CIRCULAR YOGA

An exercise in unlimited possiblities. Movement meets Yoga…on a circular mat! Working in the round, actively incorporating every direction and dimension of space, this class will completely change the way you look at Yoga.

PRE/POST-NATAL YOGA

Learn poses that help relieve the aches and pains of pregnancy, from morning sickness to early labor pains! Linked together in a classic “flow” style, these yoga poses have been specifically selected for use during pregnancy and the postpartum period. They are safe to practice throughout all trimesters of pregnancy. We will focus on breathing techniques and pelvic floor exercises that will be valuable during labor and delivery with special attention to emotional issues and anatomical changes. 

YOGA FOR ACTORS

Apply lessons discovered in Yoga to the craft and business of Acting! When we practice Yoga, we are completely present. The journey of this class is to find that “presence” in ourselves. Breath exercises, balance, stretching, meditation, and flow are the key components that lead us to a place where we can access the presence we find on our mats…off of them. Rather than being at resistance to what is, we learn to release, relinquish and surrender to where we are RIGHT NOW..thus enabling us to go further both in our Yoga and in our Acting.

POWER YOGA

A high calorie burning, fun, exhillerating workout. Not your mother’s yoga! Great for control-freaks everywhere! Get ready to feel the burn! 

VINYASSA/FLOW

Using breath to create movement, flow through Sun Salutations and Vinyasa series connecting dynamic postures to encourage a meditative state. Get yourself connected!
